Casematic XT represents a new step forward in Fastbind range for on-demand hard cover making. In a short time, you can be producing high-quality books in a wide variety of formats, from A5 to A3+ Portrait format.

The original design of the Fastbind Casematic XT allow not only to create book covers, but any other fully decorated hard cases: CD and DVD boxes, restaurant menus... You just need to change the two spine guides from a 8mm-groove to a 3mm one.

Stage 1 is to print out your covers designs onto Fastbind Printable Tacking Sheet. This is a material specifically designed to work with the casematic and can printed using either laser or linkjet systems. The back is self adhesive covered with release paper.  

Printed tacking sheet is then positioned on the Fastbind Casematic XT lightbox for making into a hard cover. The amazing inner grey board positioning method makes it quicker than ever to register your grey board on the printed tacking cover: the light table includes unique suction assistance for placing the tacking papers, as well as center line, scaled and top line for the most accurate settings. Fastbind Casematic XT also integrates a user-friendly electric edge-folding unit for an easier operation. A corner cutter can also be added to ensure accuracy of finish with every cover.
